Colin I. Bowrey Bs. Ms. JD
Colin Bowrey was born in Lancaster Village, Corentyne, Guyana 1954.
He migrated to the United States of America in 1971, briefly attended high school and was
persuaded to attend college because he was too advanced to be in high school. He obtained a
Bachelor of Science degree from Tuskegee Institute, a master’s degree from Texas Southern
University, Houston, Texas, where he also studied law, obtaining a Juris Doctor degree.
Upon completing his education, Colin Bowrey when on to hold several positions in the private
legal and business sectors. He held positions as General Manager of CMS Services in Lynn,
Massachusetts, chief operations officer for Joe Diamond Associates in Clifton, New Jersey, and
Senior Litigation Analyst (Discovery specialist) for a major corporate law firm in New York.
Currently retired, Colin Bowrey acts as counsel to a few private clients.
