Brian Daniels was born in Georgetown Guyana where he received a formal high school education at North Ruimveldt Multilateral. After graduating from high school, he worked at the Office of the Prime Minister from 1981 to 1988 as the personal assistant to the Prime Minister. He migrated to the USA in 1989 and joined the Health care sector working in the security department; he subsequently transferred to the Cancer care department after a few years where he is currently a patient navigator/case manager for the NYS Department of Health Cancer Services Program at New York Presbyterian Hospital Queens focusing on cancer care for the uninsured and under served population. The Municipal Credit Union
recognized Brian in 2017 as the most valuable New Yorker for his fundraising efforts for breast cancer and bringing awareness in the community of the importance of being screened for cancer. Brian also sits on the executive committee as a director for the US chapter of his Alumni helping to oversee the charitable donations being made to his Alma mater.
